Terms of service

These terms apply when your organisation uses Leavo. Leavo is a trading name of Techficient Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales("we", "us"). Plain English summary first, details below. By creating an organisation you accept these terms on its behalf.
Short version
- You pay for what you use; we keep the service running and secure.
- You own your data. We only use it to run the service for you.
- Don't upload illegal, harmful or malware content.
- Either side can end the service; we'll help you export your data.
- Leavo is not legal, HR or SSP advice.
The service
Leavo tracks holiday allowances, holiday requests, sickness absence and provides related reports. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or improve features over time.
Your responsibilities
- Keep account credentials secure and only invite people entitled to access the data.
- Ensure you have a lawful basis to process the personal data you enter, and that employees have been told their data is stored in Leavo.
- Don't use Leavo for anything unlawful or to store data you're not allowed to hold.
Fees
Pricing is shown on the Billing page inside the app. Fees are billed in advance in GBP. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice by email to admins.
Data
You own your organisation's data. We process it as described in our Privacy Policy and under UK GDPR as your processor. Backups are retained on a rolling window.
Termination
You can request organisation deletion from Settings at any time. We'll remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
Liability
Leavo is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability we cannot lawfully exclude.
Not legal advice
Leavo helps you record and calculate holiday and sickness — it is not a source of legal, HR or Statutory Sick Pay advice. Check with a qualified adviser for decisions about pay, entitlement or employment.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
